Water Heater Issues?

Sometimes, being in hot water is a good thing!

At Grade A Plumbing, we know how important it is to have your appliances work. Correctly. And consistently. So, if your hot water heater is on the fritz, we can help!

Though it usually comes down to preference, there are a few things to consider when deciding on a gas or an electric hot water heater. Gas heaters can be less energy efficient than electric, but the cost of using electricity is usually higher than that of natural gas. Gas heaters also have a faster recovery rate which makes them more convenient for larger houses and families.

Residential water heater sizes range from 40 gallon to 100 gallon tanks, and most houses find that a 40 or 50 gallon tank fits their needs. Of course, if you have a larger house, or have more people living in it, you may find that a larger tank will work better for you. Ask us, and we’ll be happy to help you explore your options.

There are a lot of factors that go into the decision of whether to repair or replace your current tank. Somethings to consider are the age of your heater; gas units can last about 10 years, tankless ones about twice that. If you’re noticing your current hot water heater is taking longer to heat, or the water isn’t getting hot enough, it may be time to replace. Let us help!

Grade A Plumbing strives to provide each and every customer with quality work, knowledgeable technicians, fast service and reasonable pricing. If you’re looking for assistance with your hot water heater, we’re here to help you make the right choices!
